Kostka Garcia & Flamenke Present: Flamenco from Cadiz
An all day event at SVA and The Goods Shed to experience the magical world of Flamenco. Workshops for every level at SVA and a fabulous early evening Performance at The Goods Shed with artists from UK and Cadiz. Paella and drink will be available throughout the day.
11-12.30 pm Flamenco Guitar workshop with Jaime de la Isla : £25
12.30-1.45 pm Beginner Flamenco Dance workshop with Adrian Brenes : £20
1.45-3.00 pm Intermediate Flamenco Dance workshop with Adrian Brenes and Nazaret Oliva : £20
3.00-4.00 pm Flamenco Rhythms/Compas workshop with artists : £5
6- 9.00pm : Live performance at the Goods Shed.
Guitarists can watch both dance workshops and join in. Flamenco Rhythms free to those attending other workshops.
Performance ticket half price for those doing Guitar or Dance workshop (please buy ticket on door for discount).
Tickets can be bought on door, at least half hour before start of each event. Everyone is welcome to watch the workshops and be inspired!
6 - 9.00pm : Live performance at the Goods Shed.
Opening with Aneta Skut - Dance, Cuffy Cuthbertson - guitar, Kostka Garcia - percussion/vocals, followed by FLAMENCO FROM CADIZ featuring El Cañejo de Barbate - vocals, Angeles Rivera -vocals, Adrian Brenes - dance, Oliva Nazaret - dance and Jaime de la Isla - guitar.
