When is the office open?

Tuesday to Friday 10am-3pm

When is the Café open?

Saturdays 10am - 3pm and also for other events - make sure to check the What’s On page to see what events are coming up.

Can I hire the Goods Shed or the SVA for a private party/event?

We rarely consider a private hire because we primarily use our venue spaces for public art/music events that we organise ourselves or collaborate with others on.

We curate the events here in partnership with artists, producers and collectives who are specialist in their artistic / musical genres. 

We are however interested in taking proposals, and when we receive them we take the time to consider if we can support the project based on:

  • The artistic quality of the work

  • If it fits within our programme focus 

  • If we have enough time and staff resources 

  • If there is an available date in calendar

How do I apply for a studio at SVA?

We actively encourage applications all year round, even if studio spaces are not available. The applications will be considered as studio spaces become available. Please see here for more information on the studio spaces and for the application pack.
