Jazz Stroud is an artist-led weekend of jazz influenced music that embraces all aspects of the jazz spectrum, ranging from the more traditional forms of jazz to improvised electronic music, experimental hip-hop and beyond. With a combination of free daytime events, outstanding evening concerts, late night live sessions and club nights, the weekend should provide something for everyone.
Forming a connection with Bristol's alternative jazz scene including bands such as Get The Blessing and Michelson Morley, the idea of Jazz Stroud began to gain momentum. The enthusiasm these artists showed for coming back to play the following year spurred on the festival's development into something bigger.
Jazz Stroud is made up of free events in the daytime while the evening shows are ticketed. A weekend ticket will allow you free entry into all events for the entire weekend.
