Following his successful exhibition at Gloucester Cathedral at the beginning of the year, Adam White has brought his lures and paintings down to the SVA gallery. Over a hundred painted and carved fishing lures, entitled 'Lures for the Landlocked - Beware of Savage Hooks: guess who lives in the alphabait soup?". Each lure is accompanied by mischievous text that describes helpful 'fishing tips' for catching various species.
Also on display is Adam’s Brex-art 'tribute' to parliament in shed snakeskin called “The Reptile House”. Adam used shed snake-skins to create art and uncoil the wild shenanigans going on in Westminster.
This exhibition has been extended, and will be open Friday 12th July and Saturday 13th July 10am-5pm.
On Saturday children are encouraged to visit the gallery for free special treasures to keep, and to learn about the fun side of fossils with Adam White, as part of the Playground Fest.
