Seasoning invites rave-futurist Papa Nugs to Stroud for a special 360° narrative-driven set featuring some of the rarest wax he's found in the four corners of the globe as part of our 2nd birthday celebrations.
Papa Nugs's roots are in jungle, speed garage and UK bass music, but he's pushing his sound towards the mind-altering edges of house, electro, trance, and proper rave music. With those '90s sounds writ large, the cool hand of the DJ steadies the ship, but the course is unknown. Seasoning residents Berwick and YouYou strap in for an extended play for a deep, pumping technicolour excursion featuring a bespoke AV installation, rolling deeper into the night than The Good Shed ever has.

Now a Rinse FM resident, he has also played a number of critical festivals and venues including Glastonbury, Gottwood, Fabric, Twisted, The Cause & fledgling Madruga Festival. The
upcoming months mark an exciting shift in the Nuggys’ output as a producer too with his sound moving towards a four to the floor interpretation of the aforementioned records he’s been digging.
Berwick
Berwick is a Sheffield by Bristol, NOODS & Mondo Radio resident DJ and producer focused on esoteric, rave-infused sounds encompassing a dance floor and environments that have inspired his music. His release on SSS records got support from Giant Swan, Bambounou, Solid Blake, Lena Willikens, Anastasia Kristensen, Nikki Nair, Breaka and many more high-calibre artists. Berwick will be playing live & warming up for Eris Drew at this year's Westival Festival and taking the live show to Rinse FM and Madruga Festival. His next release is set for the start of March on AVOIDANT where he will be sharing a space with top-tier techno & electro talent Kerrie, DJ T-1000 & Bloody Mary. Following that, Berwick is teaming up with rising stars, Dual Monitor for a collaborative EP coming out in early summer, Berwick’s 2024 is looking to be a big one.
YouYou
Inspired by various musically-enriched scenes around the world and her large musical family, YouYou’s sound spans multiple BPMs and genres, blending everything from ambient, funk, disco and world, to a sonic journey through darker realms of underground rave-infused house, bass, electro, acid, breaks and techno, with plenty of tracks that fall between the cracks. Playing her extensive collection at venues and festivals across the South West, Bristol and London, expect YouYou to bring both the groovers and the muscular, percussive heavy-hitters, levelling up any dancefloor to ignite a memorably euphoric and wonky energy.
