Residency
Jake Wheatley and Zoe Pine are artists originally from the south west, now based in London.
Jake explores intimacy and gentleness through repeating motifs and mark making techniques. Through soft pencil marks, Jake creates a feeling of stillness throughout his work.
Zoe’s practise revolves around the everyday, spending time with imagery that otherwise be fleeting or disregarded. Through collecting both imagery personal to her life, and found, she explores what drives nostalgia and sentimentality.
