We look forward to the next Stroud Jazz Club Jam Session at 8pm on Friday 25th April with Patsy Gamble at Stroud Valleys Artspace.
Patsy Gamble is a professional saxophonist, vocalist and composer, from Stroud, who has worked with many artists including Mick Jagger, Steve Winwood and Paul Weller, and supported John Mayall, Peter Green, Andy Fairweather-Lowe, Gloria Gaynor and Sister Sledge. A frequent live performer on the British Blues Scene, Patsy was a British Blues Award finalist in 2011 and 2012. She has also written and performed her own music, in particular her acclaimed suite for saxophone and church organ ‘In Remembrance’ in Gloucester, Bristol Cathedrals and Spitalfields Church, London. At present she is working on a new album with guitarist Muddy Manninen (ex-Wishbone Ash)

The jam is hosted by Stroud Jazz Collective and Stroud Valleys Artspace and has been born out of the former Stroud Jazz Sessions, celebrated for over a decade in Stroud.
