Pecha Kucha Talks: 7-8pm
Pecha Kucha is a unique presentation style. Each artist shows 20 images of their work, each image is shown for only 20 seconds and automatically moves to the next slide. The total presentation time per artist is 6 minutes 40 seconds.
For the artist it’s a brilliant format for consolidating and presenting an aspect of their work with optimum images and a clear message. For the audience Pecha Kucha is an incredibly engaging way to hear several artists talk about their diverse practices - something for everyone and a bit like a jam session. The artists showing their work on September 3rd are from a wide area: Bristol, Oxford, Newnham, Cheltenham and Stroud and we hope that there will be a good audience and that this will become a regular event at SVA.
