Nettle Grellier will exhibit paintings from her 2019 series "Poisson Chez Moi" A response to the climate crisis, experiences of alienation and loneliness and a yearning for an idyllic and communal “simple life.” In these scenes of repose and leisure, intimacy and awkwardness interplay, shifting the dynamics between the figures and leaving the viewer guessing.
The work will be visible from the main street window, with the intention that those who are isolating/social distancing can view the work without entering the space.
The exhibition will be open by appointment only.
