Jazz Club Stroud

Following an exciting Stroud Jazz Club last month, we look forward to the next Jam Session at 8pm on Friday 20th October at Stroud Valleys Artspace.
Come and hear Joules Jackson perform and lead the Jam. Joules is an exceptional UK Jazz multi-instrumentalist, composer and recording producer. He is Deputy Head of Jazz at The Guildhall School of Music & Drama and whilst a leading jazz bass player, he also performs on drums and keyboards. He’s worked with many leading musicians including Jamie Cullum, Jacqui Dankworth, Sir John Dankworth & Dame Cleo Laine, Salena Jones and Laurie Holloway.
Listen to never-before-created live music. Come and perform with friendly supportive musicians. At the end of a hard week get in the zone, rid your cares, relax! The venue has the perfect post-urban atmosphere.
As this is new, we do need to know you want it. So come, bring your friends, spread the word! The jam is open - all are welcome to perform.
The jam is hosted by Stroud Jazz Collective and Stroud Valleys Artspace and has been born out of the former Stroud Jazz Sessions, celebrated for over a decade in Stroud.
