Working together as The Sunhead Kollektive, Charlotte O'Dowd and Thom Deane produce sound art, film and 3D work. Both artists will use the gallery to explore class and identity via multimedia experiments.
Thom Deane:
Thom's practice most recently has been conducted within the medium of film, depicting rural working class existence as well as an earnest exploration of the self, commonly pairing with physical computing AI projects, concerning regional accents, class.
Apart from this they make music with guitars, effect-pedals and drum machines, paintings, drawings, and tuft rug compositions which all concern the same topics of identity.
Charlotte O’Dowd:
Charlotte lately has been working with sculpture and found materials, as well as performance art, and audio/video art.
She looks a lot at class and memory, recently making pieces exploring the death of her dad, and own resulting trauma.
